Subject to the Obligations and exclusions below
and on back,
Ocean Computer Centre Ltd. warranties its computer
systems. The computer system is composed of the computer
case, its contents, keyboard, monitor, speakers, and mouse.
The system warranty covers parts and labor for a period of
two (2) years against defects in material or workmanship.
To maintain quality of computer components all systems
have been sealed . The removal or tampering of
seals will void the warranty. Ocean Computer Centre Ltd. is authorized
to replace or repair defective hardware components, computer parts and
peripherals deemed defective by the trained technical staff of
Ocean Computer Centre Ltd .All systems are tested to
ensure reliability. In order to maintain the warranty, any
repair, upgrade, or replacement of components must be
completed by authorized staff of Ocean Computer Centre Ltd.
Call our support staff! Most software issues can be easily
fixed over the phone. If we determine that a technician needs to
service your machine, just bring it in and we’ll get to it as soon
as possible. Please be assured that we do our utmost to return your
system to you quickly, as we know it is an important part of your
home or business routine. The warranty covers our site repairs.
There is a service charge if you request Service calls to you
home or place of business.
If a component needs repair or replacement it will be
repaired or replaced with a comparable product at the
discretion of our technical staff. Note: Monitors, printers,
and notebooks are always repaired by the
manufacturer, not by us. We have worked closely with
our vendors and manufacturers to minimize turnaround
time. Unfortunately, actual turnaround times are beyond
our control. Once a component is returned to us, we will
then proceed to reinstall it into your system.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE OWNER
Surge protection on the system and all
of the internal and
external hardware is the responsibility of the consumer.
All original packaging materials are necessary
for shipment to
the manufacturer in the event a component must be returned to them. We
cannot be held responsible for damage that may occur while the system
is out of our control and the warranty will be voided. This is extremely
important to ensure the safety of your system while in transit to and
from the manufacturer.

EXCLUSIONS
This limited warranty does not cover the
repair of cracked, scratched, broken or modified plastics or other cosmetic
damages; parts that have been altered, defaced, or removed;
foreign substances or objects that destroy or affect the computer.
This limited warranty does not apply to repairs or replacement
necessitated by any cause beyond the control of the seller
including, but not limited to any malfunction, defects, or
failures which in the opinion of the seller are caused by or
resulting from unauthorized service or parts, improper
maintenance, operation contrary to this limited warranty. In no
event shall Ocean Computer Centre Ltd. be liable for lost
profits, incidental or consequential damages arising from
ownership or use of this computer. Any part that is defective in
materials or workmanship or fails to perform to its stated
specification will be repaired or replaced, at our option. The
warranty does not cover the operating system or application
software, virus-type infection, misuse or abuse, factors outside
the scope of our and the manufacturers’ liability.
This warranty does not cover software related problems . Ocean Computer Centre Ltd. , neither manufactures nor
warranties software , including software purchased from Ocean Computer
Centre Ltd. Issues arising from the use of software should be directed
to the manufacturer for resolution including updates available on the
world wide web or replacement when an incompatibility arises with specific
hardware or other manufacturer’s software.
On site service calls covered by our warranty
will be subject to a charge for travel cost .
