Ocean Computer Centre Ltd. was established in 1992 to provide computer sales and service to the residents of Shelburne County. The business then, was located in a small retail area on Main Street, Barrington Passage, employing one full time salesperson along with the owner / technician Barry Blakeney. In 1996, a decision to expand and relocate was made. The business was relocated to 3482 Main Street, Barrington Passage. Today, Ocean Computer Centre Ltd. has a staff of 9 full time employees and one part time employee. Everyone is trained to handle the front shop, there are 3 technicians, two who work on site at the Barrington Passage location and one who does all networking and outside service calls, 4 graphic experts, each specializing in their own fields of expertise, one bookkeeper/manager and one part time clerk. The Company has diversified over the years to meet the growing needs of the business and residential communities. Our services include a full line of Business Printing,photo reproduction and restoration; a full service sign shop that is equipped to produce signs of all forms such as vehicle decals and boat names; computer sales, service, training and repair. In 2001, the decision was made to open a store in Shelburne to better meet the need of our clients and to expand on our Sign Shop capabilities. The Shelburne store located at 79 Ohio Rd gives us the ability to provide finished signs in a shorter time and in any weather and a larger display area for customers to view.
